Unbeatable design and service
• Network Design

The Offsite Data Backup Center is also fully redundant in every network and environmental category, with NO single point of failure in the network design. All aggregation equipment is built in a redundant manner throughout the centers. Included are the OC-48 connections, self-healing OC-48 SONET ring, core routers, and aggregation switches. Each switch is as hardened as technically possible, with multiple power supplies, switch fabrics, and management cards.

• The Service Team
The US DataVault Service Team is responsible for providing facilities management, network management and monitoring, security, and customer service level support. They can provide Network Operations Center-based and data center-based support, including capacity planning, system/network administration, security and physical plant coordination.

• Secure Access
Monitored 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, our eBusiness Data Center site is available to be viewed by customers 24/5 by appointment. (Call or eMail your US DataVault representative to schedule a walk-through.) Only customer-authorized personnel are permitted to enter the raised floor environment. Restricted access is granted by Security, utilizing advanced biometric authentication technology, card key access, locked racks and cages, and monitoring/surveillance devices.

• Secured Cabinets

Your systems or services run on servers in secured racks or cages locked front and back. Space is available on any scale to meet your needs. For an additional fee, you may request specially secured cages, providing maximum physical security for critical system deployments.

• Cooling Systems
The Center is equipped with redundant, monitored HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning), providing consistent and appropriate temperature and humidity. All cooling systems are monitored and alarmed, with moisture, leak prevention and containment systems deployed to ensure integrity.

• Redundant Power Supply
The eBusiness Center receives electricity from multiple power grids, with battery supply backup for uninterrupted power. In the event of a total power outage, the Center is equipped with diesel power generators that can operate it at 100% for days. This ensures guaranteed, uninterrupted, 100% power up-time. (The facility power supply is now being upgraded to generate 30 million watts -- enough to power 10,000 homes or a small city of 30,000 people).

• Disaster-Resistant Facility
The Center is housed in hardened facilities that were built to the highest standards, even exceeding the local building code by at least one level.
