To assure strong, adaptable, ongoing operations, allow for both significant network and Client growth, and to beef up network security, USDV has been spun out of H&S and is now a fully Incorporated, independent company, US DataVault, Inc.
USDV has retained all contact, address and email access, all that has changed is our ability to react to client needs faster and, as a result, USDV's new network setup is faster, more secure and reliable.
USDV is planning to move its primary data facility to Switch in Las Vegas this summer and will keep Atlanta as its secondary operation with a private, high speed fiber pipe between them. This locale reversal with strengthen our network as well as provide multiply redundant access for our data Clients.
HostAndStream will keep Atlanta as its operational facility and will handle all co-lo needs for USDV.

US DataVault inks reseller deal with Tiger Direct!
After months of discussion, US DataVault has signed a deal with Tiger Direct, a large IT catalog retailer out of Miami Florida, whereby Tiger will resell US DataVault secure, compliant services to its B2B and retail customers.
The Agreement brings US DataVault an inbound and outbound B2B telemarketing staff of about 500 people in 8 facilities across the US as well as presentation within the famed "Tiger Catalog". USDV will be a lead product in Tiger's effort to expand its product base into more residual income streams as opposed to the standard catalog approach of "buy now, pay now, call me later".
Tiger has long thought about making such a move but finding the right product, one that fits with their IT bent, has not been easy. USDV brings Tiger the ability to provide ongoing services to those customers who buy Servers, office systems and workstations across a wide range of business types.

HostAndStream is VERY proud to announce it's acquisition of US Data Vault , an operation totally devoted to high security data storage. The acquisition brings HostAndStream the expertise and compliance tools it needs to provide our Customers with safe, secure data storage meeting or exceeding all legal or mandated requirements. When added to our existing strengths in off site back up and remote network access, the US Data Vault division of HostAndStream is poised to become an industry leader in BCM and off site, secure data storage and retrieval.
HostAndStream acquired the assets of US Data Vault the first of this month and expects to have all services integrated into our family of products by the end of June.
Since we reported the news of the Sarbanes - Oxley Act in February, response has been incredible. FYI: What is Business Continuity Management (BCM)?
To some extent Business Continuity Management (BCM) grew out of IT Disaster Recovery Planning. While IT disaster recovery plans are still very important, BCM is now regarded as being concerned with every aspect of an organization's operation - not just IT. It is not just about recovering from a disaster such as caused by fire or flood or the failure of computer systems. It can also be about the collapse of a key supplier or customer, an industrial dispute which halts critical supplies, loss of a key executive, an infectious disease epidemic, anthrax-type scares, fraud, unethical operations, environmental pollution and reputation management.
The Business Continuity Institute (BCI) defines BCM as "the act of anticipating incidents which will affect mission-critical functions and processes for the organization and ensuring that it responds in a planned and rehearsed manner".
Gartner estimates that two out of five enterprises that experience a disaster will go out of business within five years. Enterprises can improve these odds - but only after they take the necessary measures before and after the disaster.
